Having never bought gold or silver before Louis took plenty of time explaining the pros and cons different products. He was vey helpful. I had checked the prices on line before going to his store of some of the large gold and silver dealers and his prices were much better. I would not buy from anyone else.

The Kaplan Award is jointly presented by PNG and the Lewis M. Reagan Foundation and is presented to someone who has helped rid the profession of fraud and thievery. In August 2013, at potentially great risk to his own life, Mr. Gouchie assisted local law enforcement officers in the successful apprehension of a man suspected of selling counterfeit American Eagle silver bullion coins at his store in Raleigh and at three other stores in the community.  Golden Isles Coins has since been sold by Mr. Gouchie for a large undisclosed sum of money.
